Bios, Areas to Help AND Cast Party!

I can't believe we're just over a week away from opening night.  The cast has been amazing and it's going to be a fun show!

I need a short bio on each actor soon (on or before Saturday!).  Please send me name, age, and a few sentences about other performing experience and/or other interests/activities.

A few areas that can still use your help:
1.  Stage painting!  We will be painting either later Friday night (7ish?) or Saturday at 4:30.  If you are interested, let me know.
2.  Lobby decorating!  During or after rehearsals next week.  If you are interested, let me know.
3.  Cast party!  Please contact Freda at (845) 521-2766 or freda@thekogans.net if you can help with the cast party.
4.  Set strike!  Immediately following our closing show, I'll need a team to help break down the lobby, clean up the back stage, and move the props and set pieces.

Finally, the cast party will be Sunday, April 22nd at 6pm at the Senior Center.  We hope you can make it!  We are asking that each family contribute $20 -- we'll hand out a sheet with the details on what that covers and who to turn it in to!

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
THANK YOU!

Set Construction and Photos!

Set Construction has changed a bit because we don't actually have that much construction to do!  If you like sanding or painting or cleaning, you're more than welcome to join us at the theater this weekend (please no actors without prior approval).  We'll be there Saturday starting at 4:30 and Sunday from 12:30-4:00.

On a different note, as you may remember, video IS NOT ALLOWED for this show.  Christina from Whittaker Portraits will be coming out next week and during one of our dress rehearsals to help us document the show in photos since we can't remember it with video.  CDs of the images will be available to purchase for $15.  Please look for an order sheet next week!

The show is coming along very well and I am so thankful for all the hard work that has been put into the show so far and for the sign ups for helping with the tasks coming up (supervision, ushering, concessions, cast party, props, etc...).  If you haven't signed up or put in your volunteer hours yet, there are still many opportunities to help!

Volunteering

Just a quick update on volunteering because I know many of you are eager to start setting up when and where you will be helping with the show!  Emails and/or sign up sheets will be available after winter break so keep your eyes out.  If anything has changed and there's an area you would really like to help with but you didn't put that on your form OR if something has changed so that you won't be able to help like you initially thought, please let me know!

See you soon!

Ticket Packets & Volunteer Applications

We had a great rehearsal last night!  The music is really coming along and I'm sure it's going to be a great show.

Ticket Packets will be distributed starting tonight.  As a reminder, payments will need to be made in cash and may be turned in at any time up until March 9th.  Feel free to turn in payments a few at a time if you are more comfortable with that.  I will always have additional packets ready at rehearsals if you turn in one and need another.

If you (or a family member) are hoping to help with rehearsals or performances (supervision, make up, stage crew, etc...) and you have not been fingerprinted with the City of Gilroy, please be sure to fill out a Volunteer Application form (sign both sides) and turn it in to me ASAP.  I will be turning in the applications in a week or two so that finger printing packets can then be issued and prints can be processed in time!

Thank you for a great start!
